Strip to Palms / Rio

I did a search on this but the only usefeul info that came up was at least 18mos old.

Is there still a shuttle from Bills to Palms?

I know Rio is very close by, but is it reasonable and SAFE to walk between the two at night? There are plenty of shutles going there from Harrah%26#39;s properties still, right?

Thanks for your help!

The walk is safe, but unpleasant. Your are mostly on overpasses with traffic roaring past, with lots of annoying street crossings.

There%26#39;s never been a shuttle from Bill%26#39;s to Palms.

There%26#39;s a shuttle from Bill%26#39;s to Gold Coast and another from the Harrah%26#39;s Strip properties to Rio. It%26#39;s safe to walk across Flamingo Road providing you cross at the light and take the normal care and precautions that you would at any busy traffic place.

lasvegasadvisor say there%26#39;s a shuttle from Caesar%26#39;s then Fashion place then Palms:

There%26#39;s also a shuttle from Bill%26#39;s to Gold Coast which is across the street from Palms and Rio

safe from Gold Coast to Palms?

Seems like it would be since it is right across the street- but across the street in Vegas can be very different than across the street in most cities...

If you know how to use a crosswalk, it%26#39;s safe enough. If I were going to be uncomfortable about anything, it would be the walk through the Palms parking lot from the crosswalk to the hotel, which is not well lit.

This is all very helpful info - thanks a ton!

I can%26#39;t believe the last shuttle from Caesars - Fashion Show leaves at 6:45pm (acording to the link)! Our plane lands at 5pm - I doubt we%26#39;d make it. We%26#39;ll have to take the Gold Coast shuttle and keep our heads up thru the parking lot - or cab it.

Harrah’s Casinos Free Shuttle:

The free shuttle picks up and drops off at the following locations: Bally%26#39;s, Caesars Palace, Harrah%26#39;s, Paris, and Rio. Pick-up times are approximately every 30 minutes from each location.

Yes, it is safe and easy. I use the Gold Coast to get from one to the other. Exit the Rio from the door closest to the buffet. Cross Valley View-you do not have to go to the traffic light- it is not a heavily traveled road. You will see the opening to the GC garage. Go up the stairs and take the elevator down to the lobby. Exit the GC on the side near the Players Club and then just cross the Street (Flamingo) at the light- you will be at the Palms. It sounds complicated and long- but it isn%26#39;t. It is fast and easy.

The overpasses are on Flamingo and have nothing to do with getting from Rio/GC/Palms. You have to cross the highway ramps going from the strip to the Rio. It is not pleasant walk at night. The sidewalks are narrow and once you pass CP there isn%26#39;t much around and some sections are very dark. One ramp has a traffic light but the other doesn%26#39;t. It does have an overpass but it swings way out from the street and sidewalk. I have always found it very creepy looking because there are no lights on it.

So- take a shuttle to get to the Rio/Gold Coast/Palms. But getting from one of these casinos to another one of them is a piece of cake.

Not quite sure...are you staying at Caesars? Or the Palms? Or someplace else but you have to get to the Palms for dinner? So you can%26#39;t go straight from the airport because you%26#39;ll have your luggage? Tell us what you are trying to do in what timeframe.
