Not sure what you are asking but my first impression is that if you are looking for a fantastic experience, maybe you should wait until you have a bit more money. If the whole trip is about economizing you may find that you are missing out on a lot. If you stay at Terribles, you will probably eat up some money with cabs to the various places too.

Where are you coming from? I am geographically challenged so I don%26#39;t recognize the location.

Motait- I sure hope you enjoy your very first trip to the USA. The info on the deuce bus was very helpful, don%26#39;t forget to let the driver know you want the day pass for $ 5. You do not need fine dining to enjoy Las Vegas. There are coupon books to be had for free when to get to Vegas.

The deuce will take you to Ellis Island, where you can find good food specials, search this forum for more info on that. One thing I would suggest, since the deuce lets you off right at Caesars, go for the business lunch at the Palm in the Forum Shops. Great reviews on a wonderful meal, including tea or coffee, for $ 19.50. You could still have fine dining and not pay a fortune.

Any other questions, we are here to help. There are so many free things to do and see in Vegas, you will have a great trip.

I was so excited to see you were from Rhyl. We stayed at a B%26amp;B years ago there near the Irish Sea. Was lucky to travel throughout the UK for 4 weeks, staying at B%26amp;B%26#39;s and meeting so many nice people. I hope you will have the same experience here.

Here you go Motait- This will take you to the Palm site, then click lunch. It will show you all you can get at the business lunch for $ 19.50

Ellsi Island Casino restaurant has specials not on the regualr menu, I believe you need to sign up for a players card, but that is free. There website is

I%26#39;ve been there, never eaten there, but here it%26#39;s one of the best meal deals in Las Vegas.

Don%26#39;t think of it as being ';stuck'; at Terrible%26#39;s! Think of it as being happy to be in Vegas. You aren%26#39;t going to be spending that much time at your hotel. That is the fun part of being in Vegas- exploring all the other casinos, restaurants and attractions! It doesn%26#39;t matter how much or how little money you have to spend- you can still have a fantastic time. There are so many fun things to see and do that won%26#39;t cost you an arm and a leg! Enjoy your trip. Well, you really can%26#39;t help but enjoy it- you will be in Vegas!

Here is a website that will give you an idea of the attractions(some free):

Be sure to see Elvis at Bill%26#39;s- it is a fun show-

Yes, the Ellis Island steak special ($6.99) is off the menu it and is a great value- it even includes a a beer or root bear!

damama, why would you tell someone to hold off on a once in a life time trip until they had more money? Many people would travel no where with that outlookor attitude. Your time would have been better spent getting educated and looking up where Rhyl is. (It%26#39;s in Wales, in case you don%26#39;t know where that is, it is in the UK on the west side by the Irish Sea)

Mo, there is so much to see in Vegas, don%26#39;t feel bad if you can%26#39;t afford going to the canyon. You may fly over it, so if it%26#39;s daytime, grab a window seat! Have a great flight and enjoy America.

vp03- That was really nice what you wrote to Motait. Great links as usual. Keep up your great contributions to this forum. You%26#39;re very helpful and I appreciate it.

Thanks for the compliment, sage! I really meant what I wrote. I am an enthusiastic Vegas visitor. I think I have spent 700 days in Vegas- and I love it as much now as I did the first time. I do try to be helpful when I can.

Why? Because based on the post it sounded like he was scraping together every penny and not able to do much. As much as I love Vegas and many other places, I would rather go and be able to enjoy myself. But I guess everyone%26#39;s level of enjoyment is different.

And finally, why would this have to be a once and a lifetime thing? It%26#39;s not like it is Mars. And if it were the only time in his life he could go, I would definitely make sure I could do as much as possible and not skip the big things - like the Grand Canyon. But hey, to each his own.

And for what it%26#39;s worth, I did look up Rhyl but I couldn%26#39;t at the time because I was working on a graduate economics course. Sorry to be so uneducated.

vp %26amp; sage, great help for mo.

dam, this is mo%26#39;s 2nd post, thus (2)

Mo is a woman, 60 years old, tour trip was cancelled.

Never been to America, very excited, making due with what she could get so she could still make her trip with her lady friend.

Doesn%26#39;t sound like good economics discouraging people from visiting from overseas.
