Zion & Bryce

We will be in Vegas the end of May and are planning to spend 4 days between Zion %26amp; Bryce. Can anyone recommend a good place to stay.

Zion %26amp; Bryce

You may get replies here but the Zion forum is a better bet for this question.

Zion %26amp; Bryce

Hi Marge,

We are doing this in a couple of weeks. Vegas, then Zion and Bryce. After spending much time on those two forums we have been recommended Desert Pearl inn at Springdale for Zion and Bryce Canyon Lodge, actually in the NP for Bryce. Ill let you know how we get on when we return.

we are staying at the desert pearl in zion ~ $150per night approx ~ it gets great reviews and is voted top on TA ~ sorry can%26#39;t help with bryce but as blagger said post the question on the springdale forum for zion ~ the forum is not as busy as the vegas one so it may take a day or two for a reply

Carrie ~ we are staying at DP in July so any feedback when you return would be great

Thanks everyone for your help Tried D Pearl but sold out will keep looking

We stayed at the Bumbleberry Inn in Springdale a couple of years ago. It was very convenient to everything, including the shutte to Zion (I presume you know that you can%26#39;t take your car into Zion during most months of the year). Not fancy, but very clean, and they have a restaurant attached that serves bumbleberry pancakes.

There are a lot of good choices right outside the park at Zion, but there is only one good choice at Bryce, and that is the Bryce Canyon Lodge. We were at both of these parks last year and found both to be very different from each other. After visiting Canyonlands, Arches, Mesa Verde, and the Grand Canyon, it was a treat to go to Zion where you are down on the floor of the park instead of up on the top rim. And Bryce is so different from all of the other parks in terms of the rock spire formations.

Actually, there is a great walk on the east side of the park that takes you right along a river up into the canyon. Most visitors view this Canyon from the rim but even there, they have paths leading down into the Canyon.

Hey.... you will love Zion and Bryce! I found easy accomodations at Zion right outside the park. You can also camp inside the park, but you need reservations, I think. Anyway, if you just type in Springdale, UT you will be able to find lots of choices in various price ranges. When I went one June, we actually just drove up and got a cheap hotel right next to the park. Nothing special, but when you walk out the door, the views are spectactular. Fun town.

I am not sure if you want to stay in both places and get accomodations in both places, but I guess if you spend two days at Zion you need one night%26#39;s accomodations at least. The place I stayed at Bryce was actually Ruby%26#39;s Inn just outside of the park. From there you drive a short distance into the park (straight road in). There is a lot of activity at Ruby%26#39;s Inn. They have teepees to rent nearby too. But other than that it is a basic hotel with usual ammenities, comfy and clean, and they have pools and a few nearby tourist attractions and places to eat.
