hi my excitement is turning to worries. We are driving from Bakersfield Ca and I am worried about bad road conditions. I have looked at the extended weather conditions but I am only finding temps. Hoping to hear from a local if possible. Will we be safe driving? Thanks in advance.

It%26#39;s not looking like it will be cold enough this weekend for snow so there would likely be no ice either. If the roads are wet due to melting snow I would avoid driving later at night when the temp will drop below freezing and the water might freeze to ice. The roads will be clear of snow. It%26#39;s not expected to snow again for at least another week. Have a great visit.
