Hotel Help

Planning a trip in April for 3 nights and can%26#39;t decide which hotel...any recommendations would be helpful. Here are my options (flight included in price from Boston)

Luxor - $550

Mandalay Bay - $710

Treasure Island - $718

THEhotel - $805

I%26#39;m thinking either Mandalay or TI. Which has a better casino, restaurants, pool scene, etc?

Also, what happened to the ';candid user photo%26#39;s'; on TA? Anyone have good pictures on any of these places?

thanks

MB has the better pools (by a mile) and restaurants. They are both MGM properties so the casinos will be about the same except TI is smaller. If you are into the pool scene then MB is what you want.

MB would be considered the better property of the two.

The location of the two is about even. It depends if you like the South end (MB) or the North end (TI). To be honest I have always considered The Strip to be from MB to Wynn.

Hotel Help

Late April...Mandalay, for the pool.

Early April, pool weather less likely, save the cash with Luxor

One more thing.

For $30 a night I would strongly consider TheHotel if the price quoted is for their two room (bedroom %26amp; livingroom) suite! It is well worth the $30 a night and you have access to all MB pools.

Early April = low 80%26#39;s

Late April = mid 80%26#39;s

Mandalay Bay does have the better pools , BUT

in April they will still all be closed except for the smaller main pool.

April is not really pool scene time yet.

The Hotel and MB are basically the same when it comes to casinos and places to eat.

Luxor, no, getting pretty tired.

Not a very ';happening'; spot.

TI is trying to re-make it self and has some nice dining and fun casino.

Also TI is much closer to so many other great places, Wynn, Paris etc...

If this is your first trip for location alone I would pick Treasure Island.

Actually

Early April = low 70%26#39;s

Late April= low 80%26#39;s

TI is not worth more than Mandalay Bay, It is more in the category of Luxor. The rooms are very worn, dingy, %26amp; definitely not worth $718.00.

Mandalay Bay %26amp; THeHotel are more of a luxuries place %26amp; a lot better amenities %26amp; better rooms. THe pool is great TI is no comparison.

Luxor is a great deal if you want to save some money but if you can swing it I would go with either THeHotel or Mandalay Bay for an excellent stay.

Thanks for all the advice. I would be going in early April. The pool area won%26#39;t be open at MB in early April??

At least some of the areas will be open, not sure if all pools will be until the ';summer'; session.

But what people are trying to tell you is, how cold will it be on your body after you exit the pool. Depending on weather. It%26#39;s a long walk back to the room if your body is shivering. Only you can know what temps work for you. =)

Call MB to see exactly what, if not all, pools will be open.
