Hotel Check in at McCarran Airport

Hi Guys

This is probably a silly question but i will be driving from LA to Las Vegas and will be dropping back the rental car to Las Vegas Airport before i check into my hotel (Flamingo).

I was wondering would i be able to check into the hotel at the airport itself? I know there is a Check in desk at the baggage claim area of the airport, but i was wondering would i be able to access this? Or is this only available to people arriving by plane into Las Vegas Airport.

Bascilly can anyone enter this area of the airport

Hotel Check in at McCarran Airport

My understanding is that it is only MGM at the airport. You would be better to check in at Flamingo then go drop the car off so you do not have to haul your luggage. Depending on the company you are using, you may check and see if they have a drop off at your hotel or a nearby hotel.

MGM Grand is currently the only hotel to offer airport check-in.

Hi Blagger - Currently on websites relating to the Flamingo it states that

';Caesars check-in desk located near carousel one in the main baggage claim at McCarran International Airport. The Caesars check-in desk handles check-in and shuttle arrangements for guests of Caesars, Bally%26#39;s, Paris Las Vegas and the Flamingo';

So im just wondering can this check in desk be accessed by anyone or only people arriving on flights into McCarren Airport

If you look on the McCarran airport website under hotel check-in, it only shows MGM Grand. Last time I was there which was Jan. the only hotel check-in at the airport left was MGM Grand. You could no longer check in at Harrahs%26#39;s properties at the airport.

Unfortunately, not all websites are up to date. I personally contacted McCarran website and this was removed. They verified it was no longer there.

Anyone know if that includes the Signature MGM properties ? can you check-in to them at the airport

TD40, you can%26#39;t check-in to Signature at the airport.

Regardless of if you can or not, you don%26#39;t want to check in at the airport if you are driving there. McCarran has a rental car center off site. So you would have to drop the car off, take a shuttle over to the terminal, check in, and then arrange transportation to the hotel.

Here%26#39;s a question: Who are you renting with? A lot of the rental companies have satellite facilities at hotels on the strip, and most of them let you return there instead of the airport for no fee. You might want to check with the rental company and see where else you can return it.

I already looked into that but all other Avis drop off locations are closed by 2pm on Sundays and i wont be dropping the car back till at least 5pm.
