players clubs question

hi there,

what two or maybe three players clubs are worth signing up for for freebies? by frebies i mean two for ones etc.i am no gambler so i wont be actually making best use of the cards.the reason i ask is my wife and i were standing in the harrahs buffet que in 2006 and some lady came along the que offering $10 off the buffet price just for signing up.great stuff i thought.

i intend on going to ellis island just to sample the ambience (and food) so i might give theirs ago, whats included in their players club vouchers?

also i intend spending a few drinking nights in main st station so any info on their p/club would be welcome also.

all suggestions and info will be greatley appreciated

players clubs question

Freebies for players club sign-ups tend to change frequently so it%26#39;s hard to know what will be available at any given time. Bill%26#39;s has a good funbook that%26#39;s permanently available with lots of good coupons.

It%26#39;s worth signing up for all players cards even if you don%26#39;t gamble or are after free stuff. If nothing else you%26#39;ll be on the hotels%26#39; radar for possible future offers.

I%26#39;m not saying there isn%26#39;t such a thing, but I%26#39;ve never seen any reference ever made to a players card at Ellis Island.

players clubs question

I have a players card for EI but never had any offers...you DO need one for the ACG coupons tho.

Passport Players Club @ Ellis Island,Don,t know what is in their fun book.

If you are using the ACG coupon for the 2 for one menu item at Ellis Island, you must present your players card. Also, at main street Station, if you get the coupon from the 4 queens rack, you present it at the players club and get a 2 for one buffet.

The Rampart (far off the strip gives you a hat or T-shirt plus a deck of cards when you sign up. I thin most of the casinos are starting to lean towards making you get a players card before they will accept your ACG coupons.

When we joined Harrahs, we got a fun book and a really nice sweatshirt with Paris, Las Vegas embroidered on it. When my son joined, he got alittle black bag. I guess it depends on when you go. We got also got a pretty good fun book at Bills.

The best thing about the Harrahs (total rewards) card is that you don%26#39;t have to play alot when you first get the card, they give you offers just to get you back so be sure and get one of those.

I%26#39;ve been getting pretty good offers from MGM properties lately too. HOnestly, I almost always get a players card if I%26#39;m going to spend any time at all playing in a casino. It doesn%26#39;t cost you anything and alot of them offer free play and little gifts as well as comps.

Hi, we stayed at Treasure Island (part of MGM/ Mirage group) back in November 2007 %26amp; got a player%26#39;s club card there, good for many casinos- MGM, Bellagio, Mandalay, Mirage, Monte Carlo, NYNY, Luxor, Excalibur, etc...

We were only in Vegas for two nights, one full day %26amp; we didn%26#39;t gamble very much at all (between two of us, perhaps $300, maximum), yet when we checked-out, they comped the breakfast in the coffee shop we had charged to the room ($25), offered us a free night when we return %26amp; also told us we%26#39;d have had more food comped had we charged more to our room. We also got a really cheap/ ugly tee shirt %26amp; those straps people use to keep their player%26#39;s cards on their belts. As well, when I phoned Treasure Island a few weeks ago to reserve a room for us in late April for three nights, they actually comped the whole three nights. So, for $300, of gambling, we have a three night stay in April + the food. So, obviouly, I strongly suggest you sign-up for the MGM/Mirage Player%26#39;s Club card!
