Off Strip Dining/Sights/Etc.

DH and I are returning yet again for a few days in Vegas. This time we want to spend some time checking out more of the city as we are contemplating a move to the area.

Any suggestions for off-Strip dining, activities, etc? (Especially from those of you who live there!) Or advice about which areas to visit (Summerlin, Henderson, etc.)?

Off Strip Dining/Sights/Etc.

Well I can%26#39;t tell you about housing areas, but we have been to Red Rock Canyon (Red Rock and Suncoast Casinos are in that area)

South Point and Silverton are south of the strip

Henderson and Boulder have several casinos and nice shopping areas, and you can head to Lake Las Vegas and Hoover Dam or head to Laughlin from that area.

We have been northeast of Vegas to Mesquite by way of the Lake Mead Recreation and Park and Valley of Fire.

We%26#39;ve driven from Vegas to Reno and back, and we always have a rental car so just get out and drive the area every time we%26#39;re there.

Try city-data.com this is more for your needs about areas in and around Vegas to move to.
