My DH and I have booked a Premier room at the Paris for a April 10-14. He picked the Paris because I was born in the real Paris, France, but left when I was just an infant. He has always wanted to take me to France, but we just haven%26#39;t had the time or money. (He also went last year to this conference without me and loved the poker room there.) After reading a couple of recent reviews, I am now nervous about this choice. We have booked a premier room, but we won%26#39;t be able to check in until around midnight and I%26#39;m afraid we will get stuck with a room that is sub-par.
Should we look at other places? What would be comparable to this resort?
Any and all help/opinions would be welcome.
Premier Room at Paris
I think you should be ok with Paris. Last there in October and the rooms were nice. The location is also great.
Overall I like it better than Bally%26#39;s. Comparable resorts would be Mirage, TI, MGM.
Premier Room at Paris
I was not that impressed with Paris, I like Cesaers better. If your paying and the price is even close to what you could get in the Augustus Tower than I wouls switch.
I think Paris is a fun place to go and have breakfast, but there rooms were ok, not great, gaming floor I thought was awful. Not only is it unappealing but it does not pay at all.
I know for me I proabably will never stay here again....
I was comfortable at the Paris my first time in Vegas. I didn%26#39;t mind the gaming floor. I don%26#39;t remember winning, eihter, but I liked the layout and the ambience.
We stayed at Paris last November for the first time. Our room was comped, and they upgraded us to a premier room without batting an eye. It was gorgeous! Recently remodeled in shades of taupe and red, spotlessly clean, with a great view of the pool and the fountains across the street. Check in was fast, as was check out. We checked in about 4:00 pm though, so I don%26#39;t know if that affected the particular room we got.
I liked the casino, and we were very lucky there on the slots. Also played quite a bit at the slots just inside the entrance to Bally%26#39;s (walking from Paris). Cocktail service was prompt and friendly.
Another thing I like about Paris is that it doesn%26#39;t take long to get from your room to the casino or the street.
I can PM you a link to some photos of our room if you like (they%26#39;re not on TA).
I just sent you a PM, too.
My Dh and I stayed at Paris last April in a premium room and it was very nice. We also have one booked for this April. 5th to the 12th. I am a diamond card player and don%26#39;t know if that would make a difference but last year we checked in late about 11:00 pm and our room was up high with a view of the stip. I hope the same is so this year. I%26#39;m not sure when your going but I will do a TR when we return this year and let you know how it went. We also stayed at the Venetian last year and I thought the Paris staff was much more friendlier then the Venetian staff even though the room at the Venetian was larger (more like a suite.
I%26#39;ve stayed at Paris many times and never had a bad experience. As recently as last October I stayed there in one of the rooms that had not been renovated yet and it was still very nice. You should get a great view in one of the P rooms of the Eiffel Tower and/or Bellagio Fountains across the street.
I wouldn%26#39;t worry about your check-in time...the couple of times we had to check in late there, once they had our room type, and the other time we got a great free upgrade when they didn%26#39;t have the room type.
Any idea how much more it would be to upgrade to a suite?
We%26#39;ve reserved a Premier room at Paris for 8 days in May. I also have read the bad reviews but there have also been as many good review so I%26#39;m hoping for the best.
ask for a room that has been renovated, also. Sometimes a suite upgrade is cheap- i have upgraded for 50 dollars per night, sometimes not, depends on how crowded they are. Ask for a P suite upgrade, very nice large suite, close to the elevator. And you cannot in my experience get a room at the augustus tower at caesar%26#39;s for the same price as paris. I personally love paris, we always stay there, nice buffett, mon ami gabi for lunch, close to caesar%26#39;s bellagio, etc. Don%26#39;t miss seeing the bellagio fountains from the eiffel tower landing at night.
