Hi
I did buy tickets for Elton in June. I chose ';Best Available'; and was pretty thrilled with the rear orchestra seats I got with the discount code given here. But, I then read some old old threads on Elton (Red Piano) seating and feel a little concerned. We are in the 600 section of Rear Orchestra, which looks to be to the far left (or far left section of rear orchestra. Is that really better seats than a further back, but not central pair of seats? It would drive me bonkers to spend a lot of money for tickets and have anything blocked or see only the performers back at the piano.
Has anyone sat in 600 section of Rear Orchestra at this venue?
Thanks,
javarai
Seats Caesar's Eltonany ideas?
Seats Caesar's EltonDon%26#39;t worry your seats are fine....yes 600 is on the side but keep in mind every seat in the Colosseum is a good seat because the furthest seat in the house in only 120 feet from the stage. Your tickets are fine.
Thanks and that%26#39;s good to know, although knowing how close the far seats are, I guess I wish I could have controlled the central aspect more than the closeness (by getting rear orchestra).
javarai, assuming it is the same as when I booked, you can go to Caesars website and get a virtual view of the stage from your seat. If they have not changed the configuration of the set, the red piano is on the left side of the stage as you look at it, with Sir Elton facing the right side of the stage. Our seats were more center, but in the nose bleed section. I did not consider my seat to be a good one. There was a short wall in front of me over one of the exit doors. There was a rail on top of the wall that fell right in my line of vision. I had to squat and look between the two to see and then EJ looked like a tiny ant. I still enjoyed the concert, because the sound was very good and the video screens allowed me to see what was going on.
I hope you enjoy it. BTW, they do not allow cameras of any sort in the theater and will search purses, etc. for them. They will check them at the door for you and you can claim them afterwards.
