Hi Vegas Friends:
Another question for you.
Due to some back surgery, I can%26#39;t walk more than a few blocks at a time, but it won%26#39;t stop me from visiting ya%26#39;ll in Vegas.
We will have a car for our trip in July and was wondering where the best place would be to park when visiting Fremont Street. The least amount of walking, to visit the best parts of downtown. We%26#39;ve been to Vegas many times, but have yet to see the Fremont experience...any suggestions?
Thanks!
Arlene.
Parking in Downtown area
Virtually all the Downtown hotels have self parking that%26#39;s free with a validation (you usually get this at the casino cage). The free parking may however have a time limit. Valet parking at the Golden Nugget is free (other than the tip) and has no time limit.
If you leave I-15 at the Casino Center Drive exit you%26#39;ll be at the heart of the Fremont Street Experience. You%26#39;ll find walking around Downtown way easier than the Strip...... :-)

Thank you Blagger...you%26#39;ve made me and my wonky spine very happy. I can walk for a while, but once the spasms kick in, I can%26#39;t go anywhere!
You all rock, my fellow Vegas-ites.
Arlene.
definitely do the gn valet...so worth it for the price of a few dollar tip. i think you do need to get there early though...others might have info on timeframe.
Thank you Diane!
Seems the general concensus is Golden Nugget...I%26#39;ll be there!!
Arlene
As was mentioned, get there early since the GN will close their valet to all but registered guests once they begin filling up. By early I mean early evening.
Thank you Dr. Vegas. Looks like we%26#39;re in store for the GN during the morning or afternoon!
Arlene.
There is also valet parking at vegas club right across from nugget if you should ever need it.
