almost all have at least one pool heated all year, especially at the top and mid range properties.

Bridgefan is correct that there will be at least 1 pool open and heated BUT if you are going to a property with big fancy pools, such as Mandalay Bay, you will find they have not opened those yet. Generally hotel pool season starts in May.

We just got back from Flamingo and the ';upper'; pool was ';officially'; open %26amp; heated. HOWEVER.....everyone was laying out down at the main pool.......and the servers were walking around taking drink orders just like it was the heat of the summer! It was awesome! I didn%26#39;t get in the water, but enjoyed the atmosphere...........ahhhhhhhhhh......

Thanks for the info Texas. Is the upper pool for everyone or is it the adult only pool? We have reservations at the Flamingo.

I think until the main pool is open, (probably in May) the upper pool is open to all. By the way, they have ripped down the Flamingo statues that circled the pool for some reason. This makes me sad.

The ';upper'; pool at Flamingo is the ';European'; pool during summer months.

They WERE taking the flamingo statues around the pool and re-painting them. There were three there when we were there last week. They were freshly painted and waiting on their other feathered friends to join them. Just a maintenance deal...not permanent.

Glad to hear the flamingo statues are not gone for good. I kind of liked them-especially when they were lit up at night.

Glad to hear the statues are reappearing. I do think it might have been easier to paint them in place, since the statues were firmly cemented into their bases with re-bar. Maybe they need special paint, however.

i enjoy an extra barrier
