mgm grand or flamingo

we just got a really good deal for 6 nights at mgm grand in june but have never stayed there-always stayed at ti- your opinions- we have the chance for flamingo for about $250 more but not sure if it is worth it?

We have stayed at both, and it would be no contest for us, MGM by far. Love the rooms and the casino. Just a better feel to that hotel.

The Flamingo is $250 more? Unless it%26#39;s for a suite, I say no contest there. All the Flamingo has that the MGM lacks is a better location and Margaritaville (sorry, Parrothead here!). Center Strip is nice but nowhere nearly an ';essential'; for me. I have stayed at MGM 5 times now and see no reason to switch, especially if Flamingo is hundreds more. Don%26#39;t let peoples%26#39; complaints that the MGM is too big bother you-by the second day you%26#39;ll be totally used to it. The rooms are great IMHO and the casino has a great Vegas vibe. It also has several good pool areas. Stop by the Mega M%26amp;G if your dates work, too!

I would have to agree with the others, I am a fan of the Flamingo but would not stay there for $250 more. From what I have seen MGM is much nicer! The Flamingo does have it beat with location and Margaritaville but that is about it.

Agreed - There is no reason to pay more for Flamingo. You will like MGM.

Flamingo has a better pool, better location, Margaritaville, staff extremely friendly %26amp; view of Bellagio fountains.

MGM is a great hotel with wonderful pools, restaurants, etc. If you got a good deal there you%26#39;d be better off at MGM than paying more for the Flamingo room, even if it%26#39;s a suite. Just my opinion.

MGM hands down. It%26#39;s a much nicer property overall.
