What's for Dessert?

Normally, I pass on dessert (a girl HAS to watch her figure, you know!). However, IF I%26#39;m going to walk, walk, walk in Vegas until my legs are 2-foot shorter bloody stumps, I AM going to eat dessert - at least a couple of times! Guilt-free!!! That said, what%26#39;s yummy and where?????

What's for Dessert?

Three words:

Deep-Fried Twinkie.

Available at ';Mermaid%26#39;s'; slot joint Downtown.

What's for Dessert?

Cheesecake at the Deli in the Mirage - bring a large appetite and enjoy! :)

That place at the Bellagio by the chocolate falls - the fancy deserts are under $10 and fabulous. My desert had creme brulee in chocolate mouse and covered in a dark chocolate ganache. I took a picture of some of them and posted them on the Bellagio picture area of this site.

(I took pictures of the deep fried twinkie too and posted it on the picture part of the Fremont Street Experience area but can%26#39;t recommend them past the second bite).

OctoberMoon: I%26#39;m sooooooo sorry!!! See? It%26#39;s the low sugar level getting to my brain right now! A little while back, I posted a thread about deep-fried Oreos. Twinkies are their sinister-counter-part. I wouldn%26#39;t miss them for the world!!!!! Definitely a to-do on my Downtown night! The downside to that is we%26#39;re eating at Hugo%26#39;s: I already have Bananas Foster on-the-brain!!!

Mmmmmmmmmmm........

Cheesecake

Beer

Twinkies

Beer

Death-By-Chocolate Cake

Beer

(can you tell it%26#39;s getting close to lunch time???)

The Desert Crepes in the Paris Hotel Shopping/eating area. Think its called Le Creperie (I could be wrong)

cheesecake @ the Cheesecake Factory inside Caesars forum shops.

Chocolate Souffle @ Roy%26#39;s Restaurant on East Flamingo

Pastry Shop inside Paris, also pretty good ice cream there.

I can%26#39;t remember the name of the restaurant where one poster said he had profiterole%26#39;s!!! *help* I%26#39;d go for that and afterwards, trek downtown for the deep fried twinkie!! OM, I have been dreaming about having one of those!!

Gabby - I too love Profiteroles (sp), and they used to have them at the Grand Lux Cafe inside the Venetian, but they changed their dessert menu. I know because I asked where did they go? I don%26#39;t remember the restaurant that the poster mentioned, so I hope they post again!!!

where is mermaids located downtown? we are definitely going to fremont street at night, is it far from there? thanks!

My favorite desserts are liquid...Margaritas, Pina Coladas, Daquiris...
