Getting married in Vegas

Hi- I am coming to Las Vegas in September to get married. I have been looking online at all the different chapels. I don%26#39;t want to get married at a Hotel chapel. I am looking at the Belleza chapel, It is right around the corner from the Stratosphere. Has anyone heard anything good or bad about this chapel? Also, Is there a bad part of the strip, I mean not safe at night? Thanks- Jennifer

Getting married in Vegas

Hi,

Congrats on the wedding. I don%26#39;t think the area around the Strat is a wonderful place for a stroll at night. It is in a less vibrant area and can draw some questionable traffic. Take a cab or the bus. The Strat is the last major casino at the north end of the strip.

We decided to wed at The Little Church of The West. We were please with the limo pick-up,the flowers, music,video,pictures...all of it. We got married there because my husband%26#39;s parents were married there. (in their memory)

I loved reading about the history of the place. I am sorry to say I haven%26#39;t heard a thing about the Belleza Chapel.

Congrats, JenniferTX!

I haven%26#39;t heard good or bad about the Bellaza, but the far north end of the Strip, as Strinkgirl has said, is not considered safe, especially at night.

We%26#39;re getting married in October at the Little Church of the West, because of its history %26amp; that it doesn%26#39;t look like a hotel chapel (too stuffy for us) or a quickie chapel (too tacky for us). I%26#39;ve heard nothing but good reports - the only bad reviews were because of the quickness of the ceremony, but that%26#39;s a plus for us; we%26#39;d rather not listen to a 10-minute sermon from someone that doesn%26#39;t know us!

we married at the graceland chapel....check out their website...absolutely no complaints and was the ceremony we wanted and not too long...great customer service..don%26#39;t have any info re Belleza but area is questionable...not sure if you have any plans to stay within the area but a limo/taxi gets you out quickly...

My wife and I were married at Little Church of the West also. Very professional, neat, romantic and memorable to this day. We will be celebrating our 13th anniversary of that on Monday, 3/10! WOW!

I would highly suggest the LCOTW to anyone.

Lyle

orr333,

Happy 13th!!

We got married in October at the Wedding Bells Chapel at the Alexis Park Resort. You can visit their web site for more information. We didn%26#39;t even know we were at a hotel as the wedding chapel is in an outdoor courtyard with a beautiful gazebo that ceremony is performed in. The lady that helps set everything up is a wonderful person. We had the whole ceremony performed for just under $500. This included flowers, preacher, video, pictures, everything. Congrats on the marriage, I hope your experience is as great as ours was.

Thank you all for the info and the congrats. Does anyone have any hotels that they would recommend. I want to stay in a nice room but I don%26#39;t really want to Pay $300 dollars a night. Any reccomendations?

priceline i got palazzo for $160 a night

I too got married in Las Vegas. We too are celebrating our 13th year this April Fools Day. Yes, we bit the bullet on the day of jokes.

We married a L%26#39;Amour Wedding Chapel. It was small and tasteful back then...

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
